The Palinkerie Imports Holiday Box 2025

Welcome to the fifth iteration of the Palinkerie Holiday Box! The 2025 Box includes a special selection of 6 hard-to-find wines from Hungary’s top producers. The bottles range from lighter to fuller-bodied, both red and white, plus a sparkling rosé.

The theme for this year’s assortment is celebration. Whether it’s a dinner party with family and friends or a quiet toast at the end of a busy day, we all deserve a little cheer this holiday season. We’ve selected 6 of our favorite hand-crafted organic wines with this in mind. These are small-production wines with character, but they are also simply delicious wines. They are festive, easy to love, and fun to drink. And they are rare – limited editions from tiny vineyard parcels, created with a passion that you can feel in each sip.

The wines all hail from different historic appellations across Hungary. The box includes a smoky, juicy unoaked white from Somló (Somlói Vándor “Hárslevelű”, 2024), a luscious mineral white from Badacsony (Villa Tolnay “Villaera”, NV), a sparkling rosé pét-nat from Balatonfelvidék (P.A.N.K. “Pink Pét-Nat”, 2024), a lighter-bodied red from Zala (Bussay “Charmes” Pinot Noir, 2021), a medium-plus red from Eger (Bukolyi Marcell “Mentha”, 2022), and a fuller-bodied red from Villány (Wassmann “Kékfrankos”, 2017).
