Grape Varieties: 46% Merlot, 21.5% Chenin Blanc, 21.5% Sauvignon Blanc, 6.5% Vidal, 2.5% Noble, 2% Pinot Noir


Channeling the conviviality and fellowship of both Sunday dinners and restaurant staff meals, this light and bright red will pair with any dish on the table. It can satisfy both those seeking a light red or a dark rosé. Family Meal follows the tradition of the food-friendly Cerasuolo wines of Italy’s Abruzzo region, but with a distinctive Virginia spin.


Vineyard Sourcing: These grapes were sourced from vineyards up and down the Shenandoah Valley, as far south as Natural Bridge and as far north as Woodstock. Typical valley soils with limestone, sandstone and shale.


How We Made It: A mixture of direct press and destemmed berries were spontaneously co-fermented in fiberglass. Bottled unfiltered in April 2025
