Convento San Francisco, Roble del Convento Ribera del Duero 2021 (750ml)

Roble del Convento 2021 is made up of a set of Tempranillo vineyards under the D.O. Ribera del Duero located in the municipalities of Pesquera del Duero, Quintana del Pidio, Gumiel de Izán and Fuentenebro, with an average age of 25 years. They are located between 845 and 920 meters of altitude on slopes and moors. The soils are composed of gravelly sands, red clays and limestone with pebbles.

It fermented and macerated at a controlled temperature for 16 days with daily pumping over and manual punching down.

It was aged for 6 months in 500 litre Bordeaux barrels of French oak (50%) and American oak (50%).
