Roberto Henriquez, Old Vines "Rivera del Notro" Blanco 2022 (750ml)

Skin-contact Semillon, Chasselas and Muscat of Alexandria. Roberto Henríquez’ Blanco, is a crisp, precise wine that we consider more of an orange wine than a white due to its length of skin contact and more complex style. A blend of three lesser-known varietals, Moscatel, Chasselas, and Semillón from the coastal region of the Itata valley, the grapes are farmed organically and fermented in stainless steel for two months on the skins before aging in 20% used barrels and 80% stainless. The result is a wine that’s medium-bodied and dry with intense minerality, salinity white floral notes and sandalwood spice. Enjoy this with empanadas de pino or a mushroom galette.
