Shannon Ridge Winery was established by Clay Shannon in 1996. He eschewed the well-known Napa and Sonoma Valleys in favor of the wild and challenging terrain of Lake County. His goal was to grow premium grapes while being a steward of the land; he believed that preservation would not only be good for the earth, it would also bring forth superior fruit. He was RIGHT! Today, Shannon Family of Wines includes over 2,000 acres of mountain property, roughly half of which is under vine. 

The 2021 Shannon Ridge High Elevation Petite Sirah is bursting with rich blackberry, blueberry, and hints of cranberry fruit flavors enhanced by black pepper, warm cedar, and spice notes wrapped in toasted vanilla. (winery notes)
